As an entrepreneur, Mr. Murphy founded the Wesley Peachtree Group, CPAs which has grown to be the largest minority-owned public accounting firm in the southeastern United States. Mr. Murphy also co-founded WPG Interiors & Exteriors, Inc., a full-service builder and developer of unique homes for satisfied customers living extraordinary lifestyles. In 2000, he co-founded IM Records, an independent record label signing renowned recording artists such as E-Dubb, Warren G, Kendria, Malaki Jonz and Tony Rich.

Mr. Murphy is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of South Carolina and has attended and taught numerous continuing education courses and seminars. He is a member of a number of professional, civic and charitable organizations.

Mr. Murphy has been blessed with a wonderful wife, Janice and three beautiful children, Donald II, Darren, and Robin.

About seventeen years ago, Janice had the opportunity to renovate and design a 1920's commercial building, which began her passion for building and interior design consulting, which came naturally to her. Years later, she made the decision to become a licensed real estate professional to ensure the highest quality of service, whether it be assisting in investing, building, or designing properties for her clients.

During numerous design projects, Janice has had the pleasure of working with individuals such as the outstanding Michael Vick of the Atlanta Falcons and Terrell Owens (T.O.) of the San Francisco 49ers. Shortly thereafter, the residential spark for building peaked. Janice then completed a 17,000 square foot luxury estate home with approximately 6,000 square feet of surrounding amenities. The exterior design features a Mediterranean presence with masonry stucco, clay tile roof on the main house, a beautiful dolphin shaped koi pond, and outstanding tropical landscaping. Cedar logs and thatch roofs on the gazebo, as well as a bungalow on the lake and poolhouse/guest suite, create the feeling of being engulfed in paradise.

A lagoon-inspired custom-shaped oversized pool with waterfalls, grotto, waterslide, and swim-up bar is complete with a full summer kitchen and two Tikki hut-like entertainment areas with changing room, bath, and indoor swim/spa. The entire project rests on twenty acres, and includes a full lighted tennis/sport court.

The four-stop elevator main house has seven bedroom suites, with heated flooring in the master bath. There are eleven baths and four kitchens, one of which is a chef's delight gourmet kitchen with custom-designed barstools and built-in seating. One of the other kitchens is a caterer's delight full-service stainless steel kitchen with serving bar. The estate has a nine full-reclining luxury seated theater under the stars. The spa area includes a sauna, steam room, and an eight man jacuzzi. The "always chilled" water fountain in the state-of-the-art gym, billiard area with stainless steel pool table, two hundred fifty- bottle wine cellar, salt water aquarium and fresh water habitat-were all designed with pure relaxation, tranquility, and peace in mind.

Janice is a member of The Institute For Luxury Home Marketing, National Association of Women in Construction, and sits on the Advisory Board of Renewal (Domestic Violence Intervention Program). She is also a certified New Home Specialist (CSP).
